Outdoor Group Fitness Sessions

Crank Health and Fitness have been running Outdoor Group Fitness Classes in Fremantle and Leeming since 2010. These classes are very popular as they combine cardio/weights/abs/core exercises to give all participants an intense, full body workout.

We are excited to be offering Outdoor Group Fitness classes between November and March to get you looking fabulous and feeling energised before and during Summer! WE LOVE OUTDOOR TRAINING!!

What does the Outdoor Group Fitness session INVOLVE?

Exercising outdoors in the fresh air and fabulous Perth weather, the Outdoor Group Fitness classes offer a quick and effective way to get your body into tip top condition. The classes are designed to help you build, maintain or improve your base fitness level (cardio and strength), no matter how fit you are. These classes typically contain some running, upper and lower body strength and abdominal/core exercises, team activities and challenges. You will be given a different, challenging and invigorating work out every session.

Sessions go for 60 minutes; each session will consist of a warm up, main work out and cool down and stretching/flexibility.

The AIM of Outdoor Group Fitness?

*An effective cross training session for other sports or fitness activities you participate in.
*Provide a variety of programs, exercises and drills to challenge all fitness levels.
*To build muscular strength and increase your cardio fitness level over Summer.
*Provide an opportunity for individuals to push/challenge/motivate themselves to an awesome new fitness level.
*Socialisation, motivation, inspiration and having lots of fun individually and as a group.

How to REGISTER for the classes?

1: Click here

2: Choose the date you would like to start your first class and click “Sign up now”.

3: New person: Fill out “New to our site”; Existing or already registered client: Fill out “Been here before”.

4: New person: Register and purchase “Crank Group Fitness Classes: $11 unlimited intro”. This entitles you to unlimited Crank Group Fitness Classes for 7 days so you can trial all of our group classes.

**If you want to pay using a credit card, you can fill in your details online. If you want to pay using a bank account you must contact mel@crankhf.com.au to fill out the direct debit form and email it to Mel for entry (contact Mel for a copy of the form).

5: Once your direct debit form has been received by Mel, you will be registered into the class!

We provide:

An awesome Crank trainer, a challenging fitness session full of variety, equipment, music, some motivation and a safe training location.

What to BRING to class?

Towel, drink bottle, hat, sunscreen, medication (eg. asthma).

OTHER stuff?

*Minimum age for classes is 15 years old.
*You must book into, reschedule and cancel all sessions through the Mind Body Online website.
*5 people must register for the class to go ahead.


All of our trainers are qualified Personal Trainers with a minimum certificate 4 in Health and Fitness and a current Senior First Aid and CPR Certificate.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum amount of sessions I should attend per week?
It depends on the goals you want to achieve and how much time you make available to exercise. We recommend 2-3 sessions per week to get into an exercise routine and to start achieving results within 4 weeks.

I am not fit enough to join your class.
That is why you join a fitness class, to get fitter and stronger! You may never be fit enough if you think like that!

Can I bring a friend to a class?
Sure! Make sure you check with the trainer before the class so they can check availability and grab some details (name, injuries, exercise history etc) about your friend before the class.

I have an injury, can I still join the class?
It depends on your injury and how bad it is. Contact mel@crankhf.com.au first!
